HCG Diet Information About Calories

by Dr. Dennis Clark

Good HCG diet information is hard to come by. Most folks who are thinking about doing the protocol worry about starving on such a very low calorie diet (500 calories per day). Yes, this would be a starvation diet without the hormone. Here is why HCG makes all the difference in keeping you from starving.

HCG Diets

The specific foods in limited amounts during this protocol are designed to support the fat burning metabolism that is directed by the HCG hormone. That is a mouthful, and if you have a fear of starving on this diet those words will not help. Here is what you must consider. Let us just say that you normally have a metabolic rate that requires 1500 to 2000 or more calories per day. It would be pretty simple math to say your metabolic rate would burn through 500 calories pretty fast. So the effective question to ask is where do the remainder of your calories come from while on the protocol.

They come from your own fat. Yes, you can count on at least 2000 calories from your own fat. Specifically, this is abnormal fat. You will see the result wherever you have it … usually belly, thighs, buttocks, or upper arms. For women, this also means breasts, depending on how much abnormal fat has accumulated in them.

The Visual

Now, to get really visual on how this works, note how I explain this to my clients. It goes like this. Imagine that you have a magic knife that you can use to cut off a slice of your own belly fat (without pain or other trauma … remember, this is your imagination at work here).

Slice off a good sized chunk, say about 2000 calories worth. Lay it out on your cutting board, sprinkle it with some salt, pepper, and garlic (okay, these are my favorite spices … use your own if you wish). Now put it on the grill, being careful not to let flames engulf it. It is fat, after all, and will burn really fast if you are not careful.

Whenever you feel that your new fat steak is done to your satisfaction, sit down to a nice dinner of 2000 calories and eat it. There you have it. You have eaten your own abnormal fat.

The great thing about the HCG hormone is that it directs your metabolism, through a signaling pathway in the hypothalamus of your brain, to effectively give you a fat steak from your own fat every day. So that is why the HCG diet is not a starvation diet. Is that a little clearer now?

Have fun with it!

HCG Diet – New Perspectives

by Dr. Dennis Clark

It is just plain silly that the HCG diet can be remotely considered as controversial. This hormone-directed diet protocol was established more than 50 years ago. It continues to increase in popularity because of its effectiveness. The HCG hormone targets the reduction of abnormal fat, which is not possible by diet alone or by any combination of diet and exercise. Here are some new perspectives.

HCG Diet Plan

Science icon
Image via Wikipedia

The original plan was created by a British medical doctor, Dr. A.T.W. Simeons, in his clinic at the Salvator Mutidi International Hospital in Rome in the 1950s. His book, Pounds and Inches, describes his discovery and experience with the protocol. He also outlines the protocol in sufficient detail for any reader to follow it without difficulty. This book is freely available on many websites.

The purpose of this article is to provide some updated information on the HCG diet and to puncture at least a few fallacies that have arisen regarding it.

Public Perception vs Scientific Research

As you can expect, media coverage of Dr. Simeons’ protocol has been mixed. This is to be expected because of yellow journalism, not necessarily because of the merits of the protocol itself. For this reason, using HCG for weight loss has been called controversial. This controversy has been made up out of thin air.

Most of the scientific research evaluating HCG for weight loss was published in the 1960s and 1970s. Some medical researchers confirmed Dr. Simeons’ original results in controlled clinical experiments. Other medical researchers failed to confirm these results, even when following the same experimental design. If anything, this would be a legitimate source of controversy. However, media coverage has never mentioned this body of research.

500 Calories Per Day Does Not Lead To Starvation

People from all walks of life, health professionals and the public alike, rightly observe that a 500 calorie per day diet alone would be too little food for normal metabolism. What they fail to note is that the HCG hormone changes metabolism to make up for the calorie restrictions of the Simeons protocol. This means that abnormal fat becomes a source of calories for daily living.

The statement above means that you can live off of your own fat when you are using the prescribed dosages of HCG and eating the prescribed foods in the right amounts. Explaining how the protocol works in this statement comes across to some people as pure gibberish, so all they can dwell on is the fear of living on only 500 calories per day. It doesn’t seem to matter that another 2000 calories can come from their own fat.

New Perspective On How HCG Works

Dr. Simeons astutely pointed out that HCG influences fat metabolism by signaling the hypothalamus of the brain. He was guessing that this protein hormone fit into hormone receptors of some kind that were already in the brain. The exciting aspect of his guesswork is that, in 1994, a new protein hormone was discovered to influence fat metabolism by signaling the hypothalamus, too. This hormone, called leptin, is now widely known as the master fat hormone.

Current research on laboratory animals is starting to show how HCG and leptin might interact by signaling the same receptor sites in the hypothalamus. Research on this interaction is too new to show how this works. However, HCG and leptin clearly influence one another. Furthermore, the influence of leptin on insulin also leads to an indirect response between insulin and HCG. One property that all of these protein hormones share is that overexposure to each one leads to resistance. Leptin resistance leads to storage of too much fat. Insulin resistance leads to abnormal blood sugar metabolism (and fat storage) and eventually to diabetes. HCG resistance simply stops this hormone from working completely.

Unusual Side Benefits

As weight loss proceeds on the HCG diet, skin seems to shrink up, too. The benefit is that, unlike all other weight loss diets and even weight loss surgeries, skin does not get loose and saggy while you lose weight.

Some people believe that a great benefit of HCG is that it works regardless of whether they exercise. The entire protocol is effective whether you sit on the couch the whole time or run 10 miles per day, and at the same level of effectiveness either way.

Perspective of the FDA

The FDA is not a government agency that is concerned with helping us be healthy. It is the enforcement arm of the pharmaceutical industry. The position of the FDA on HCG for weight loss is irrelevant to anything useful for the public. In fact, I predict that the FDA will ban the use of this hormone for losing weight as soon as it gets enough attention to threaten the drug industry.

Fake Scary Stuff About HCG

HCG was first called the pregnancy hormone because pregnant women produce high levels of it during the first trimester. One subunit of this complex protein is also produced by women during menstruation. Comments that imply some kind of feminization of men upon taking HCG are plain silly. Quite the contrary, since bodybuilders often use HCG to restore low testosterone levels after taking an anabolic steroid series.

HCG is not just a hormone that is produced only by women. Men have the genetic machinery to produce it, too. One of the subunits shows up in measurable quantities as a product of certain kinds of cancer. It is used clinically as a marker for testicular cancer. Keep this cause and effect straight. Testicular cancer causes a positive test for HCG, not the other way around. Comments on the Internet that invoke the fear of HCG causing cancer get this cause and effect backwards.

Maintaining Long Term Weight Loss – Really?

No. Weight loss on this protocol does not grant carte blanche to eat poorly without consequences. Ice cream and cookies will make you fat, regardless of whether you lose weight on this protocol or any other kind of diet. Claims about keeping off fat forever are true only when dieters adopt appropriate lifestyle changes that support healthy weight management. It is only logical. If you do things that made you fat in the first place, then those same things will make you fat again.

HCG Diet and Weight Loss Protocol Quick Summary

by Dr. Dennis Clark

HCG Diet Simplicity

Way too many people make the HCG Weight Loss protocol much more complicated than it really is. It is simply a hormone-directed, very low-calorie diet that is ultra-low in fat and carbohydrate. The recent growth in popularity of this protocol, however, has attracted so much nonsense that it is difficult to know what is right and wrong.

Whenever I hold a Q&A session in my store, I always start out my presentation by putting everyone on the same page with a summary of the key points that answer most questions before anyone even asks. They are as follows:

HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is a complex protein hormone that is produced by pregnant women. Its normal function is to direct the mother to use her own stored fat to nourish a developing fetus.

Different forms of HCG include injectable, oral (sublingual), transdermal (cream), and homeopathic drops. I have no scientific basis for evaluating homeopathic HCG, since it contains no actual HCG. All other forms contain measurable dosages of the hormone.

Native HCG that is isolated from the urine of pregnant women is available under several brand names, including Pregnyl, Follutein, Profasi, and Novarel.

A genetically engineered form of HCG, called Ovidrel, is produced by Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells. It is not identical to the complete native hormone. Nevertheless, it works just as well as the native hormone.

When administered to overweight men and women, low dosages of HCG cause the reduction of abnormal fat when food calories are restricted to no more than 500 calories per day. (This would be an unhealthy starvation diet without the action of HCG to derive calories from fat!)

The diet consists of four components in each of two daily meals: 1) a nonfat protein; 2) a vegetable; 3) a fruit; and, 4) a serving of Melba toast. The program also encourages the intake of plenty of water and allows unlimited amounts of black coffee and tea. Stevia is the only approved sweetener.

Key supplements for enhancing results include green tea, chromium, goat’s rue, cha de bugre, CLA, and probiotics. (See below)

Because HCG is a hormone that “trains” specific brain receptors, it advisable to use the hormone for a minimum of 27 days (the 30-day program) or a maximum of 40 days (the 43-day program). Maximum weight loss during the 30-day program is typically 25 lbs. For the 43-day program it is typically 35 lbs. Further reduction beyond 35 lbs. requires an additional HCG series after a layoff period.

Fat reduction via HCG shapes your body by burning abnormal fat. You will not go below a healthy weight level or become too “skinny” – you will simply look the way you are supposed to look when you are not carrying excess abnormal fat.

According to Dr. A.T.W. Simeons, the discoverer of this program in the 1950s, the bonus benefits of the HCG Weight Loss Diet include restoring steroid hormone balance, slowing or reversing the downhill slide of hypoglycemia and diabetes, re-energizing thyroid and adrenal glands, breaking up arterial plaque, reducing rheumatic pain, and lowering blood pressure.

Lifetime Aftercare: HCG-based weight reduction is only the first phase. You must also follow certain dietary guidelines (i.e., no sugar, low starch) for a 3-week second phase. You must also adopt a sensible diet and lifestyle for the rest of your life. This is when right diet, exercise, supplements, and lifestyle are most important for your long-term weight management and total health.

Lifetime Supplements: This is another topic that has attracted a lot of craziness. Keep it simple! There is nothing simpler or better than what I have already assembled at Doctors Nutrition Center for the HCG Diet Aftercare Supplements.

How Effective is the HCG Protocol?

Dr. Simeons estimated the effectiveness, or success rate, at better than 90%. In my experience, this depends on compliance. If you do not follow the protocol, you will fail. Furthermore, if you do not live sensibly after you reach your target weight, you will gain rebound fat. There are no silver bullets, magical drugs, or miracle surgical procedures that can help you if you do not do the right thing.

I hope that helps your thinking a little bit!

Who Wants to Be Fat? How Fattening Diets Can Help You Lose Fat

by Dr. Dennis Clark

Scientific research and explanations for weight gain and obesity reach back more than a century. Based on this research, modern advice on how to combat fat gain is almost entirely wrong. Diet and exercise are ineffective, no matter what your doctor or other uninformed experts tell you.

FATTENING DIETS TO THE RESCUE

To address the promise of the title of this article, fattening diets are instructive because they tell us how people get fat when they want to. This means that, theoretically, you can do the opposite and get slim. Of course, nothing is that simple. Nevertheless, this will point you in the right direction. I will first explain how to get fat, and then I will suggest how you can use this information to lose fat and never get fat again.

FATTENING DIETS OF SUMO WRESTLERS

Champion sumo wrestlers of Japan have to get fat and stay that way. They attain a typical weight of more than 300 pounds by their early twenties. The most comprehensive English-language research article on this topic was published by Tsuneo Nishizawa in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 1976.

Nishizawa reported that the elite group of sumo wrestlers consumed on average almost 5,500 calories worth of pork stew every day. This stew consisted of 780 grams of carbohydrate, 100 grams of fat, and 365 grams of protein. The second tier of wrestlers averaged 5,120 calories per day – based on 1,000 grams of carbohydrates, 165 grams of protein, and 50 grams of fat. This second group weighed as much as the first, although they were significantly fatter and less muscular.

The elite group averaged 57 percent of their calories in carbohydrates and 16 percent in fat. The second group averaged 80 percent of their calories in carbohydrates and 9 percent in fat. Regarding fat, both are considerably below what most public health authorities in America would refer to as a low-fat diet.

The message is that pathological obesity in young men in their prime is caused by a very low-fat, high-carbohydrate diet. Now ask yourself, does this resemble anything like your diet?

FATTENING DIETS OF AFRICAN ROYALTY

This goes back much further into history. In 1857, European explorers reported that Abysinnian nobility in West Africa followed the custom of fattening their wives to such an extent that could not stand upright. A typical beauty would reach immense size, measured as a 52-inch chest, 24-inch arms, and 30-inch thighs.

On hindsight, the fattening diet of these women consisted of at least 1,000 extra calories per day in carbohydrate, and often more. That’s it. Think about this for a moment regarding dietary habits of modern Americans. What would it take to add 1,000 extra calories per day of carbohydrates if you just consider bread, tortillas, bagel, cookies and cakes, crackers, chips, and sodas? One and half Big Gulps alone would be 1,000 calories!

THE OBVIOUS TAKE-HOME LESSON

Avoid carbohydrates unless you WANT to get fat!

Specifically, avoid carbs that come packaged in nutritionally-deficient foods. Avoid white foods in general. This does not mean fruits and vegetables. It means starchy or processed foods that give you carbs and almost nothing else. The negative impact of these foods is huge.

By the way, diet foods and drinks that are sweetened with artificial sweeteners do not help. Some are so toxic that they should never have been approved for human consumption. That’s a topic for another day. I suggest you do some serious research on them, and I strongly recommend that you avoid them completely. Sugar-free sweet foods and drinks will kill you faster than a high-carb diet will.

WHY THIS IS SIMPLE-MINDED ADVICE

Fine, avoiding high-carb foods will keep you from getting fat. However, if you are already fat, it is more than likely that this strategy will not be sufficient for slimming down and staying slim. The main reason is that, once you are fat, you have already developed a tremendous imbalance in several kinds of hormones. The most important ones are the steroid hormones (specifically estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone – for men and women alike) and the protein hormones that include human growth hormone, leptin, and insulin, among others.

The fundamental reason that weight loss diets have such a high failure rate is that they do not address the underlying hormone imbalance that keeps you fat and that gets you fat again on the rebound from prior weight loss. By the way, exercise will also fail for the same reason. Once you have a fat person’s metabolism, you will continue to have a fat person’s metabolism – even if you have lost weight – when your hormones are imbalanced.

Cutting Edge Weight Loss: What is Hcg?

by Dr. Dennis Clark

“HCG, or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, is a hormone that is naturally produced by the placenta during pregnancy. This hormone goes a long way toward controlling the metabolic functioning of the pregnant woman. In addition, it helps to prevent the deterioration of the corpus luteum in the ovary. As a result, the corpus luteum is able to continue producing the progesterone that is necessary during pregnancy.

Since HCG is produced during pregnancy, medical professionals routinely check for elevated levels of HCG when testing for pregnancy. As a hormone that is associated with pregnancy, HCG is used to help treat women with fertility issues as well as other hormonal problems.

In addition to the effects that HCG has on hormones, it has also gained a great deal of popularity as a dietary aid. In order to assist men and women with weight loss, HCG is injected into the dieter’s muscle on a regular basis. When the injection is taken in conjunction with a very low calorie diet of 500 calories per day, those trying to lose weight can lose a significant amount of weight in a short period of time.

One of the reasons HCG is so popular when used with a very low calorie diet is the fact that it makes it possible to consume a low amount of calories without experiencing the side effects that are commonly associated with eating such a small amount of food. In fact, those that follow the diet along with the HCG injection generally do not experience hunger pains and have a heightened level of energy. In addition, they do not lose muscle mass, which is a common concern when following a very low calorie diet.

There are some potential side effects when taking HCG, though these side effects are more common in women taking the drug for fertility purposes than in men or women taking the drug to help with weight loss. This is because women taking HCG for fertility have to take significantly larger doses than those taking it for weight loss. For some, headaches occur when taking the drug and some people experience other symptoms that are commonly associated with pregnancy. When taking HCG for weight loss, however, these symptoms are extremely rare.

It should be noted that HCG has not been approved by the FDA for use as a weight loss aid. It is, however, considered a safe drug to use for other medicinal purposes. Since it has not been approved as a dietary aid, it is considered an alternative form of weight loss therapy.”

7 Things You Should Know About the HCG Weight Loss Program

by Dr. Dennis Clark

Dr. Simeons developed his HCG Diet Plan based on observations of abnormal fat loss while working in India using hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) supplements in adiposogenital dystrophic boys.

The boys treated showed improvement with their undescended testis, but they also lost the abnormal fat stored around the abdomen, hips and fat pad at the base of the neck.

With this knowledge, Dr. Simeons brought his plan back to Rome where he treated the rich and famous for nearly 30 years. Over that time, he perfected his program.

The hypothalamus is a part of the brain stem. It is the oldest part of the brain. It is in control of our involuntary functions, including fat storage and utilization.

The hypothalamus thinks we should still be hunter gatherers, so as our society changed and we started eating scheduled meals with much higher calorie intake, the hypothalamus hit its limit of calories it knew how to process.

To compensate for the extra calories, it pushed these aside into abnormal fat stores. These fat stores were then forgotten by the brain and inaccessible by the body to use as fuel.

This is why a person who is losing weight by cutting calories or through bariatric surgery can look gaunt and still has large hips or a bulging stomach.

Using hCG combined with a very low calorie diet tricks the hypothalamus into thinking you are in a starvation state so it then liberates calories from the abnormal fat stores for survival.

While going through the program you are not living on food intake. You are living on the calories liberated by hCG from your abnormal fat stores. This can be between 2000 to 4000 calories per day.

The diet associated with the program is very restrictive and should be followed closely. Dr. Dr. Simeons perfected this diet protocol over decades of research. Some minor modifications to the diet plan can be made to compensate for changes in food choices available in today’s supermarket.

This program is different from any out there because:

1) It resets the hypothalamus so you don?t gain the weight back after you have completed the program

2) It targets the abnormal fat (the fat you cannot lose with diet and exercise)

3) The skin retracts as you lose the fat.

HCG is not a hormone, it is a complex molecule that contains over 300 aminopeptides. It is found in every human tissue in males and females. Its primary purpose appears to be protecting an embryo from being rejected.

The embryo is genetically 50% from the father so there is a risk the maternal body will see it as foreign. A miscarriage would be the result of this fetus rejection without hCG.

HCG performs many other functions in the body, some well documented such as its affect on the hypothalamus in weight loss. Research is ongoing into other benefits of hCG.

Beyond Weight Loss: the Unexpected Benefits of Hcg

by Dr. Dennis Clark

“HCG is quickly gaining recognition for its ability to help with weight loss. Although the hormone still has not been approved by the FDA for use as a weight loss product, many physicians are recommending it to their patients and weight loss clinics specializing in HCG weight loss treatments are becoming more common. In addition to helping people lose weight, however, many people utilizing this weight loss program are discovering that there are additional benefits as well.

The Body Sculpting Benefits of HCG Treatments

Many of the people that are using HCG to help them lose weight are finding that the hormone helps with the reshaping of their body’s as well. Unlike many weight loss programs that only help with losing weight, HCG appears to help contour the body and decrease the circumference of the body. HCG also helps tone common problem areas, such as reducing the amount of fat deposited in double chins and getting rid of pot bellies. HCG also appears to help rejuvenate structural fat, which helps make the hands, neck, and face look refreshed.

Individuals on the HCG diet are also supposed to follow a low calorie diet of only 500 calories per day. Without the help of HCG, a diet consisting of this few calories can results in a loss of muscle mass. Those on HCG, however, do not experience this side effect. In addition, the hormone appears to actually reduce the appetite, which makes it easier to adhere to the 500 calorie diet.

The Health Benefits of the HCG Diet

Obviously, shedding extra pounds will help improve the overall health of a person on the HCG diet. Researchers also believe that taking HCG helps to normalize the cholesterol levels of those on the diet. In addition, the hormone appears to help normalize the thyroid gland and balance the hormones while rebuilding the adrenaline glands.

The Emotional Benefits of the HCG Diet

People on the HCG diet also routinely report experiencing less irritability and generally feeling in a better mood. This lift in spirits seems to continue throughout the entire treatment period. Patients also report having more restful sleep, which may be partially responsible for the improved mood. Similarly, patients report feeling more energized while undergoing the therapy. This may be attributed to the improvement in sleep, the loss of excess weight, and the positive impact HCG has on the adrenaline glands.

For many, just the weight loss benefits of HCG would be enough to make this hormone worth taking. With the additional benefits that the hormone appears to have, however, it makes the HCG weight loss program that anyone looking to lose weight should consider.”

Weight Loss 101: Eating on an Hcg Diet

by Dr. Dennis Clark

“If you are interested in losing weight with HCG hormone therapy, it is important that you also follow a special diet as well. By combining a low calorie diet with your hormone therapy, you will be able to obtain the greatest benefits from this weight loss program.

Reducing Your Caloric Intake

In order to follow the HCG diet correctly, you will need to reduce your caloric intake to just 500 calories per day. Obviously, you would be able to lose weight with a 500 calorie diet even if you weren’t getting HCG hormone treatments. If you cut back to this many calories without the help of HCG, however, you will likely lose muscle as well as fat. Obviously, this isn’t healthy and will not result in a toned body.

HCG helps to prevent the loss of muscle as you reduce our caloric intake. In addition, HCG makes it easier for you to cut back to this many calories because it acts as an appetite suppressant. During the first few days of the program, you might experience mild hunger after reducing your food consumption. By the second week, however, most people find small servings of food to be quite satisfying. This is partially because the HCG helps to release calories from your stored fat and these calories then circulate throughout your body. In addition, your hypothalamus makes adjustments to your metabolic rate, which helps you feel full faster.

The Diet Plan

There have been some changes made to the basic diet plan recommended to those on the HCG diet, but the original diet plan is as follows:

• Eat nothing for breakfast. You may drink tea or coffee, but it cannot include sugar and you can only have up to one tablespoon full of milk within a 24 hour period. You may use Stevia or Saccharin.

• Lunch consists of 100 grams of either veal, chicken breast, beef, lobster, fresh white fish, shrimp, or crab. All fat must be removed before cooing the meat and it must be weighed while in its raw state. It must be cooked through grilling or boiling and without any added fat. This meat is to be accompanied by one vegetable. You can choose from the following vegetables:

o Asparagus

o Beet-greens

o Cabbage

o Celery

o Chard

o Chicory

o Cucumbers

o Fennel

o Green salad

o Onions

o Red radishes

o Spinach

o Tomatoes

Lunch also consists of one piece of Melba toast or one grissino breadstick as well as an orange, an apple, one half of a grapefruit, or a handful of strawberries.

• Dinner is the same as lunch, though you are encouraged to mix and match the meats, vegetables, and fruit you choose for each meal.

Other diet plans have been introduced since the original, namely those that revolve around eating all organic foods. Therefore, it would be a good idea to read about other diet plans in order to determine which one you think will be best for you.”

Safety Issues Associated With an Hcg Diet

by Dr. Dennis Clark

“HCG is a hormone that is naturally produced by the placenta when a woman is pregnant. The fact that the hormone is naturally occurring, however, does not necessarily mean that it is safe to use. After all, tumors occur naturally within the body as well – and no one wants to have a tumor in his or her body. Therefore, if you are considering using HCG to help you with weight loss, one of your concerns will likely be whether or not the hormone is safe to use.

HCG and Fertility Treatments

HCG has long been used by doctors to help women that are experiencing fertility issues or other hormonal problems. As such, it has been deemed both safe and effective to use for this purpose.

Unfortunately, the FDA still has not approved HCG for use as a weight loss aid. As with all alternative forms of treatment, the FDA has not been able to find enough substantial evidence through its research to indicate that HCG is effective as a weight loss aid. On the other hand, thousands of people have used HCG and have successfully lost large amounts of weight in a short amount of time.

For women using HCG for fertility treatment, there are some potential side effects. Namely, women using HCG for fertility issues have reported experiencing occasional headaches as well as experiencing symptoms that are commonly associated with pregnancy. For patients using HCG for weight loss, however, these side effects are even rarer because the amount of HCG used is significantly less than that used for fertility purposes.

The HCG Diet Plan

Another potential source of concern when following an HCG diet is the actual diet plan. In order to follow the HCG plan to its fullest, you are also supposed to maintain a diet of 500 calories per day. Although following a diet with such a small amount of calories would normally be considered unhealthy, it is safe to do while also receiving HCG injections. This is because HCG helps prevent the loss of muscle mass. It also helps dieters retain a high level of energy while suppressing the appetite. Therefore, while it generally would not be considered safe to follow a diet with so few calories, doing so while also receiving the HCG injection is both safe and effective as a weight loss strategy.

If you are going to use HCG to help you lose weight, it is important that you follow the diet protocol properly. In this way, you will have the greatest amount of success with our weight loss program while also keeping yourself safe and your body healthy.”

Hcg Diet – Hcg Diet Plan as Gaining Its Recognition on Weight Loss

by Dr. Dennis Clark

HCG is quickly gaining recognition for its ability to help with weight loss.

The HCG weight loss treatment or HCG Diet plan is the actual diet plan.

If you are going to use HCG Diet to help you lose weight, it is important that you follow the HCG Diet protocol properly. In this way, you will have the greatest amount of success with our weight loss program while also keeping yourself safe and your body healthy. Dr. Simeone created the Pounds and Inches Protocol of HCG Diet to follow carefully the recipe in order to lose weight and be healthy at the same time. The HCG Deit works for everyone, as other diet that talks about metabolism, calories and the right kind of food, the HCG Diet is a natural treatment for people who feel they are fat.

Many of the people that are using HCG Diet to help them lose weight are finding that the hormone helps with the reshaping of their body’s as well. Unlike many weight loss programs that only help with losing weight, HCG Diet appears to help contour the body and decrease the circumference of the body. HCG Diet also helps tone common problem areas, such as reducing the amount of fat deposited in double chins and getting rid of pot bellies. HCG Diet also appears to help rejuvenate structural fat, which helps make the hands, neck, and face look refreshed.

Individuals on the HCG diet are also supposed to follow a low calorie diet of only 500 calories per day. Without the help of HCG, a diet consisting of this few calories can results in a loss of muscle mass. Those on HCG Diet plan, however, do not experience this side effect. In addition, the hormone appears to actually reduce the appetite, which makes it easier to adhere to the 500 calorie diet.

For many, just the weight loss benefits of HCG Diet would be enough to make this hormone worth taking. With the additional benefits that the hormone appears to have, however, it makes the HCG Diet plan that anyone looking to lose weight should be considered. Now, you know why it is gaining its popularity on people who would like to lose weight.
