Im very interested in this Homeopathic HCG my friend tried out the HCG W/the Hormones in it and the side effects took her hair OUT!! She called me in tears the doctor had her on the pills first, then in the next month she was taking the shots which she had to do herself and I found that very strange why couldn't they do it themselves? She been off of it for about 3 yrs and gained all her weight back ....fast. Will this Homeopathic HCG do that?

Hi, Pat:

None of those conditions is contraindicated by the hCG diet protocol, including hypothyroidism. The information you received is incorrect. You can get back to your old self, as many thousands of people have already done.

All the best,
Dennis

Doctor I would like to know if I can follow the HCG diet? I am 58 yrs young, with multiple health issues; including but not limited to: type 2 diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, fybromylgia, hypothyroidism ...I am on various medications for each condition along with HRT (compound bioidentical)which I've been on since 1995 after having a full hysterectomy. I was told I could not take the HCG because I have hypothyroidsm. I would like to know if this is true and if so, why? Most of my life I have been full of life and vitality with a great figure and mental outlook. Even after my 3 children were born I managed to regain my figure. Over the last 15 years I have gained 70lbs. My failure to get my weight under control is making me very depressed and I am looking for help. Please let me know what options I have- Thank you - Pat

Hi Doc, I took the Fat Drop HCG Excel 100% hormone free from walmart for a month...I just took a pregnancy test a couple days ago cause my cycle was late, and it was positive for pregnancy. Since the HCG I took is 100% hormone free, am I truly pregnant? I read that the normal HCG is a pregnancy hormone that can cause you to test positive, but mine was hormone free. I waited a few days and took another test, and it was still positive. I am no longer on the drops in case I am definitely pregnant. Any advice or information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, Kate: No problem with kilograms...I've been using metric units (and prefer them) in my lab for decades. Now, be careful what you read. Lots of misleading information is out there. Your weight will be stable if you eat right. If you go back to sugary foods and drinks, processed grain products (or grains at all), and starchy foods, then you will gain weight again. Many factors will determine what you must eat: age, health, etc. Look at it as a lifelong process or experiment, with your body as the subject. There are lots of good answers for you. Stay in touch. And good luck!

All the best,
Dennis

Hi Dr. D,

I'm on day 7 phase 2 of the hcg diet and I have lost 4.1 kilograms (sorry, Australian measurements). I have Hashimoto's disease resulting in hypothyroidism and have tried every diet under the sun and never had results like this! I'm hungry but the results alone are enough motivation!! My concern is that I have read that the weight goes on easily when you finish the vlcd and resume normal caloric intake. Do I have reason enough to be concerned?

Hello, I am trying to find out if the HCG can be taken if you have had Estrogen related Breast Cancer that spread the the lymp nodes? I am a 10 year survivor and have had a double mastactomy with rounds of chemo etc. I do not want anything to stur the cancer cells up. I would like to try this but I am just a little afraid. Please advise. Thank you
