Hi Dr. Clark,
I completed my 1st round of 40 daqy oral hcg program 2 months ago. Went a few extra days on it. 44 days of drops,3 days without,… losing 31 lbs. Everything worked. I was not hungry,… I had lots of energy, etc. Since my first round… I found your site… and am hjorrified to learn that the drops I took did not contain any hcg hormone.
I am going to try to do the 40 day REAL hcg program for my 2nd round… but am worried… as i cannot find anything premixed,.. so I will have to buy everything to mix it. FOr 40 day program how much hcg do i buy? 15,000 i.u. or will 10,000 i.u. suffice. Also,… some say to mix with colloidal silver, b-12, some say water vodka and stevia. Money is a big factor. How much hcg do i buy for 40 days? how many ml’s of bac-water, how many ml/s of 10 proof vodka, and how many drops of pure stevia extract do I mix for the 40 day supply…? Thanks. Need help.. and can’t afford the $$$$ per minute phone call or mixing kits that are offered at high prices. Thank-you, Roma Also,…. some say to put .25 ml under tongue per time twice a day,… some say .5 under tongue twice daily. thanks. roma
oops,….. meant 100 proof vodka, not 10. (typo)
Also can a batch of 40 day sublingual be mixed all at once? or do i mix 10,000 i.u. of hcg and then an extra 5000 i.u. of hcg,… close to the 30th day…? Please advise. Thanks. Also,… WHat kind of syringe should I use to administer this…? with the homeopathic it was easy 12 drops in am 12 drops in pm. What size syringe do I need…? Can it be squirted under the tongue without a needle, or is it better to use the needle to aim it…? I would love to use a dropper,.. but don’t know how many drops. Please advise. Thanks, Roma

Thanks for the clarification. Some companies make it more difficult than necessary. We get our sublingual HCG from a compounding pharmacy that provides it as a dry powder in a dropper bottle, along with a vial of the right amount of stevia water in a separate vial. All quantities are predetermined. All we do is combine the liquid into the powder, then take 5 drops under the tongue twice per day. The 30-day protocol uses 12,000 IU, and the 43-day protocol uses an additional 4,000 IU (i.e., 16,000 IU total). They come in separate vials. Does that help?
I find your presentation of homeopathic hCG extremely interesting in that you are looking for published scientific evidence to read that proves homeopathic hCG works. I also find your choice of words very interesting in that you really don’t discount it, but at the same time do chose your words so that the average individual would believe it doesn’t work . With that said, if I may be so bold in pointing out to you that there is NO scientific evidence that the actual prescription hCG RESETS or FIXES the hypothalamus either as the world is claiming. Simeons was the first to say it years ago that we can NOT PROVE the positive effects on the hypothalamus and abnormal fat, only the change that is seen and experienced. There are now hundreds of thousands of people around the globe that will be the first to tell you they know the hcg has changed something in them. in the US, in the 70’s the big controversy was whether hcg and Simeons diet was snake oil, now I see the issue at hand disputing that against the homeopathic hCG. Homeopathy has been used by Royalty in England for Centuries, and I would surmise they would be the first to step up to the plate to vouch its effectiveness.
I would also like to comment about calling hCG a hormone, when in fact it is actually 237 LARGE amino acids that are found in the liver, spleen, thyroid and in nature as well. It also acts as a PRE-CURSER to testosterone and estrogen and Does Not fit the actual definition of a hormone. I’m not sure how it became classified as a hormone, but it continues to get incorrectly defined.
With that said, it also cannot be proven the oral or the sublingual prescription hCG is actually absorbed through the mucosal lining. Every pharmacist I questioned for 2 years said it is too large to be absorbed transdermally or orally (or through the sinuses or rectally for that matter), so that might be a good matter for you to investigate as well.
In homeopathics, substances, ( when created in the correct potencies ) will mimic the usage of the substance since everything has energy to it. I agree with you that there is no actual hcg molecule IN homeopathics, that’s the beauty of it. It contains the EXACT same energy as the substance. Who ever can PROVE that energy, will win the Pulitzer price, just like maybe they will if someone can prove how electricity and / or prayer works. But a homeopathic remedy creates the same environment in the body as when the actual substance is given, therein lies what I would have like to have seen in your video. Homeopathic NOSODES are created from diseases and bacteria to stimulate the immune system, SARCODES are made from secretions/hormones/botanic and food sources, or others. ISODES are made from a person’s own tissue and diseases. Your presentation seems to only refer to NOSODES, leaving your audience with only half of the story. hCG is not a disease, rather a natural substance found in all living things therefore is a Sarcode, which isn’t what your presentation describes. The beauty of homeopathy is that the body will use what it needs, if in multiple potencies and the correct homacords. I can understand your confusion, but as a scientist I’m sure you are aware that there are many forms of energy in the world and homeopathics are just one of them, just like the energy running through a nerve in the body. I am ecstatic that hCG is getting the notice that it deserves in regard to the potential of a better form of weight loss and weight management than anything else out there. I think Simeons’ original findings were brilliant. My clinicals and research has proven that there is MUCH more needed to support most people before, during and after, but with the relapse rate at 95 percent within a year for people who diet and exercise to lose weight, just a 94 percent failure rate will mean hCG is better than the usual approach!
Hi, Beth…What an excellent and complete comment. Thank you. Yes, I must admit that my wariness of homeopathic HCG comes through, even though I have no objection to the excellent approaches of homeopathy in general. One of my friends, in fact, is Dr. Iris Bell, who is the premier homeopathic researcher in the U.S. (in my opinion).
It is personally gratifying to know of someone such as you, with your scientific background, being interested in this topic.
By the way, HCG is a protein hormone, one of many kinds of protein hormones. As such, is not a precursor to any of the 150 or so steroid hormones. So we could have a great debate on this point, couldn’t we?
I find it interesting that you can find no scientific journals that say homeopathic hcg works. Have you found journals that tell you they don’t? If so, can you please reference them? I am baffled by the amount of people that it is working for, and puzzled if there is evidence to the contrary. If, however, there is no evidence pointing to the efficacy of it because no studies have been made, I find your thoughts to be a bit misleading.
Thanks for finding my comments interesting! I admit that I am in the common trap that scientists fall into: I don’t understand it, so I harbor doubts about it. Just don’t look for consistency from us analytical type folks. Nobody understands gravity, either, and yet it seems to work. I am just reserving my complete acceptance of homeopathic HCG until I see something more substantial than testimonials. There is no published research on this modality that I could find anywhere, plus or minus.
Wow To be quite Honest I don’t really care if it is oral or shots I’ve been FAT all my life and I finally find something that works in the right places that I need it to work in and People who do not have my problem Just have to show Negativity. With that said I’m now on the hcg protocol daily shots, but I lost 68 pounds first and I still had rolls every where. Then I discovered hcg and in 1 week I started melting away in places that my 2 mile walks could never help me streamline away “So help me God.” Also its not Easy but If you hang there You can experience Miracles of seeing your body transform from fat that has just been building up for years. Can we just all get along because this product really works?
Thanks Dr. Clark you have some very helpful information on your web page and I’m constantly checking back to be encouraged.
A.Renee
Wow Beth Golden that was so very interesting and enlightening. I have been so confused, but with losing 27 lbs in 30 days on Homeopathic HCG what more is there to wonder? Why don’t the testimonials hold value? I guess I have been combing the internet to find a something to ponder in a positive way regarding Homeopathic HCG other than each website that sells them. Your comments were brilliant and helped me so much! THANK YOU for taking the time. I have things in a better perspective to continue with the Homeopathic drops. I would appreciate all the information you can send me at candy@charleswaugh.com is so very welcomed.
Very inspiring. Thank you for the good word on this protocol. Keep in mind that any negativity from others has nothing to do with you or with the protocol. That comes from early conditioning…or, as Bill Cosby used to say, from their mommas.
Right on, Candy. I have to catch myself when I am being the overly analytical scientist person that I had to be during my research career. All information is good for being, well, informative. Testimonials have power, too, which I do recognize. The medical profession does, too. They are called ‘case histories’ – and they end up in medical journals alongside experimental studies. Shoot, my own daughter had great success with homeopathic HCG.
If you bought it on eBay, it is most likely a homeopathic preparation. I couldn’t say for sure whether it has any activity. People who take real HCG sometimes also stay hungry for a little while. If you are hungry for days or weeks, the chance is that you are not getting calories from your own fat. That is about all I can say without knowing exactly what you bought and what is happening to your body.
I have a bottle of HCG Plus and below that title it ways 12X, 30X, 60X……On the back it says Homeopathic Special … Hand successed.
Now, if I took this for 2 days and placed 10 drops under my tongue at lunch and at night for those 2 days and quit taking it would it cause a pregnancy test 3 days later to read positive?
I just began the HCG drops & have lost 9 pounds (includes 3 pounds I gained during the loading days). I’m on day 6 and progressing nicely. I know the drops I obtained were from a good source. However, I am ravishly hungery between meals. I was instructed to place 7 drops (.40ml) sublingual 3x/day. After reading about other’s struggles with hunger, it appears that I need to increase my dosage, yet I’m not sure how much I should. In addition, I have a very muscular build (picture Mary Lou Retton) and was wondering since I have much muscle mass am I burning more calories & thus need to increase the number of calories I consume a day? My goal is to lose 15 – 20 pounds but this hunger is unbearable & my family is about ready to kill me. If you could provide any feedback I’d greatly appreciate it.
The original description of the protocol by Dr. Simeons stated that the 500 calories per day requirement is independent of body size or metabolism. Moreover, the dosage is equally constant for everyone. Advice to increase calories or to increase the number of drops both violate these basic premises. Note that the dosage is in IU and should be the same for everyone.
In a few days I’ll be 49 years old and I’ve never used anything but homeopathic remedies. I lost 3-1/2 lbs. on Day 1 and 8-3/4 lbs. by Day 7 using homeopathic HCG and the VLCD. I’ve never missed a period except when I was pregnant but 11 days after starting homeopathic HCG, I missed my period What the!!! Certainly one could make the argument that I’m peri-menopausal but that would be too easy and dismiss that the fact that it was probably influenced by homeopathic HCG. Further, my cycle is 24 days to nearly the minute. It always has been. And it just so happened that I skip a period when starting homeopathic HCG? I don’t think so.
I am a physician and have the sense to know that there are somethings in Life that work, even if they don’t make sense. I don’t need another academic journal to tell me everything I need to believe and think.
Advice: As the Zen Master says, “Don’t believe everything I say, go find out for yourself.”
Just wanted to let everyone know that I used Homeopathic HCG drops I didn’t know what the difference was except that I heard about it from Dr. John Gray on coast to coast and I lost 42 pounds!!!! I didn’t feel very hungry gained about 2 pounds in phase 3 but easily conquered that when I had my steak day and now I’m in to it 14 days!!! and keeping the same weight..
I lost inches not only pounds and I feel terrific.. I don’t know what was in them but it was easy to use no mixing no hassles as I fear to get something from out of the country with no prescription as I hear horror stories on how they do not send the product.. and Needles.. everyday?? no way..
Dr. Clark, may I ask WHICH homeopathic HCG your daughter went on? What were her results in terms of weightloss/# VS days on regimen? Did she test for actual reduction in BODY FAT COMPOSITION?
My situation is such that it FORCES me to consider the dollars spent on a regimen (widowed with children and working only part-time until I find a full-time job). I desperately need to lose weight now that I have gained over 70 pounds over the last 3 years dealing with undiagnosed hypothyroidism. I have been on Levothyroxine for 8 months now and my doctor said that I should be able to lose the weight “naturally”. However, I have NOT, even though I maintain a low-processed, healthy diet. I work, ironically, as a nutritionist, yet have not seen any significant reduction in weight, even though I eat very healthfully. ANY information related to the least expensive way to obtain the HCG would be highly apppreciated!! I am willing to give this a try as I am desperate to regain my health for my own and my children’s sake. Yet, I have spent 2 weeks researching HCG on the internet and am actually more confused about which product I should get, then when I started all this research. I truly need an expert’s guidance at this point I feel. Thank you in advance for any information you might give to me.- Thank you, Laura
Hi, Laura: I don’t know which brand my daughter used. I do know that lots of testimonials on homeopathic HCG are positive, regardless of the brand. My only experience, and scientific knowledge, is with HCG hormone, the real stuff. If you want to go low cost, then go ahead and see how well the homeopathic products might work for you, since these are the least expensive of all. By the way, the best research summary on nutrition and health that is available right now is The China Study, by T. Colin Campbell and Thomas M. Campbell. If we all had been following directions based on this research in the first place, obesity would not be a problem at all. If I had my way, this book would be required reading for all doctors and nutritionists. The healthiest diet of all is: no grains (not even whole), no animal-based foods, and nothing processed. I’d bet your hypothyroidism would go away on this kind of diet, especially if you supplemented with iodine. See David Brownstein’s book on iodine for a shocker on that topic.
Thanks for your input. Dr. Iris Bell, my colleague from the University of Arizona and the premier researcher on homeopathy in the U.S., would be happy to know of your success. I also agree with your comment about academic journals. I am in an interesting position in that I use them for scientific validation, even though I know that more than 90 percent of published science (in all fields) contains major flaws. Just look at the HCG research in the 1960s and 1970s: seemingly perfectly designed experiments coming to diametrically opposed conclusions. Ah, we scientists are human after all!
Thank you for all the information. I have actually read Brownstein’s book on iodine, as well as studied his more recent info (via the net), along with Dr. Jorge Flechas’ work. I finally just put myself on iodine about 6 months ago, after multiple attempts to get my endocrinologist’s feedback. Am so glad I did! I “fired” that doctor and am now seeing a natural doc, on Naturethroid, etc. Has been a long journey…My FEAR is that if the HhCG does not truly work by the same mechanism as real hCG, then the weight being lost is NOT just fat, but muscle as well AND the hypothalamus is NOT reset…setting oneself up to regain quickly due to a much lowered metabolic rate. MAY I ASK: What percentage of actual fat did your daughter lose? -and how long has she been able to keep her weight to within the 2 pounds without “restrictive” calorie control/eating a normal, healty diet, once she finished Phase 3? Thank you once again for your kind consideration to my questions…and thanks for the tip…have heard of, but not yet read The China Study, will check this out for sure!
I lost 27 lbs in 30 days on homeopathic hcg. I feel GREAT! It has been the easiest thing I have ever done. And no, I am not losing muscle, and it is not a placebo. If it were a placebo, then all the other things, including going on a total fast, would have produced the same placebo effect. When I start on my second round, I am going to get a body fat meter to monitor, just for proof to all who say that homeopathic doesn’t work as well as the “real” hcg. I don’t know how it works, but I have a handfull of friends who are using it as well and are losing weight and feeling great. And yes, they also have tried all the other stuff, and nothing worked like this does.
By the way, while it may be true that homeopathic has no hcg, it still has the effect of hcg. From what I understand, that is the great thing about homeopathic! It has the effect without having to have the actual ingredient. I just wanted to add that while using the homeoopathic hcg, not only have I had energy that I didn’t have when I was using nothing and eating any food that I wanted to eat, but I have also stopped having the hot flashes that I had been having. Imagine that!!!! No HcG in the bottle but I have energy and my hot flashes are gone. Hmmmm.
Glad to help with the information overload, Laura. Nobody knows what the homeopathic HCG does relative to the hypothalamus. The bottom line for measuring the correct outcome is to keep track of your body fat. Impedance for that purpose devices are pretty inexpensive, and they even come as part of bathroom scales to give you a body fat estimate. Even though their accuracy is questionable, they are better than the caliper method. And, they will at least give you a body fat trend. As long as you drop fat (even 4-5%) then your metabolism is going in the right direction. My daughter’s weight has crept up a little, although that is independent of the form of the HCG that she used. She did not keep track of her body fat composition.
Sounds good to me, Mari. That is a great idea to get a body fat meter (some come with bathroom scales now) to keep track of the most important detail, i.e., body fat change. I love to hear success stories like yours and those of your friends. BTW, I admit that not knowing the mechanism of action does not mean that something is not real. Physicists do not understand gravity, although we accept it as real.
You are inspiring thank you for helping explain HCG to us all!:)Anyway before I discovered your site I ordered Ora-thin “supposely” alternative hcg oral pills. My sister in law took them and followed the diet and lost over 30lbs,and has kept off the weight for months. So i ordered them and i have lost 15 lbs in 17 days. Now I know that homeopathic is not real hcg:( as i just found out, being new to all this, but I am going to order the real stuff and try it too! My only question is why have the ora-thin pills worked and why can i exist on 500 calories a day and not even be hungry if homeopathic hcg does not work? It is working for me, and I still plan on going on a maintenance phase immediately following. Help please??
Sometimes no explanation will be obvious. I do know that if people go on a starvation diet, such as 500 calories per day without HCG, then it takes only a few days for hunger to disappear. In fact, people who do extended fasting lose their feeling of hunger after just a few days. This may happen with folks who are on very low calories and a non-HCG product. The best way to know what is happening is to keep track of body fat composition. When body fat is going down, then some kind of hormone signaling system for fat metabolism is working. The Ora-Thin HCG alternative has nothing to do with HCG whatsoever. How and whether it works is anybody’s guess. Get a bathroom scale that gives you a body fat amount and follow how that changes.
Hot flashes! I used the HCG drops on the 26 day protocol and my hotflashes stopped completely. I was very successful on the diet–lost 20 lbs–and almost more thrilled to have my severe hot flashes gone. BUT, the hotflashes returned when I stopped the protocol.
Is it possible to continue to take HCG drops just to stop the hot flashes? If so, what amount? Is that in anyway dangerous? I’m desperate to get relief from the hotflashes; they’re impeding my life.
Regarding hotflashes and HCG. Forgot to mention that not even Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) worked that well for me (some relief from hotflashes, but not much). But I’ve been on HRT too long (5 years) and need to find something else.
Your experience relates what bodybuilders have known for a long time … i.e., that HCG restores balance in steroid hormones (although bodybuilding use is for restoring testosterone levels). Dr. Simeons noted this, too. The issue for you is not whether you can keep using HCG (the answer is no, you develop resistance to it). The issue is how to get your steroid hormones back in balance. I have a lot to say about this on another blog. If you go there and request my nutrition report, I provide a bonus report about natural approaches to menopause (the subject applies to women of all ages). The HRT industry has led a lot of women down the garden path without really addressing the causes for hot flashes, etc. Worldwide, these are not normal symptoms of menopause. The blog I refer you to is: http://herbscientist.com/. Lots of other goodies there, too.
I did HCG drops and began a 26 day plan. That was in early March. I am 5′3″ and weighed Ugh 145 AFTER loading. I originally thought I wanted to lose about 15 lbs and was really doing it alongside my husband who wanted to lose more than 50 lbs. I wanted to support him and prepare his meals so it made sense to work right with him. I lost 19.5 lbs and another 1-2 while in Stabilization. My husband lost an initial 37lbs. Neither of us felt HUNGRY in the sense of feelign shakey and hungry like I might have prior to taking the HCG. I can say that like any other time I knew when it was time to eat a meal (a prescribed meal) and quickly woud feel sataisfied. We both did a second round. We both lost more weight. My husband is now down 58 lbs and I am down another solid 5. I dont see that I could lose anymore. My BMI is slightly lower than the chart normal. I now weigh 121 and 120. I wear 4 sizes smaller. Girlfriends I am in a size 2 and 4! Here is what I most want to share,
I am lean. I see cuts and muscle that is now showing as if I had been doing pilates or even working out. My calf muscles are incredible. I even show contour over my abs.
I see the line of the deltoids. I see this as having removed the fat that was padding the underlying muscle underneath. Muscle is striated so now that it shows it looks cut. It is now July and there is NO weight loss, dont crave foods I used to and clearly have incentive jus to eat healthy. I eat somewhere around 1800 calories and more if I indulge in wonderful Italian breads. But I stay within the 2 lbs that has been determined as my set weight. As a practicing RN I am now helping others achieve the same great results. I believe anyone can out eat the plan and blow this. But I believe this is fast and doable! Our healthcare has changes so much. It is really now just the pharmaceutical industry!!!! So I feel we are missing opportunities for wellness that are no longer in the best interest of our scathed healthcare industry now heavily dicted to my pharmaceuticals. But bottom line I feel if you pick a source of HCG that is supported by others successes, but good general informations without modificatins and they can support their source and you follow the EXACT PROTOCOL you will achieve great success. If you are looking to disprove a product then you will be successful at that too. That would be called self sabotage! As a nures who has seen medicine take a bad U-turn I too am more confident in homeopathic and naturopathic physicians and remedies. The general medical world will endorse last resort treatment with risks such as Gastric Bypass before using something thousands lay claim to sucess! Go Figure!
One more thing my cholesterol dropped from 308 to 128 off the meds I wouldnt take anyway (statins) and my husband is off 3 BP meds and is running a avg BP of 128/79. Not bad at all when he was uppr 180s to 190 over 100~! So this girl says go for it. I see little to no risk and no need to fear 26 days!
I have just finished reading all the comment on the debate of homeopatic hcg. Thanks you all for sharing your thoughts and feelings! I am new to all this I have been at this for just one week. I lost 9 lbs in about the first 4 days. Then I have been stalled. I hope tomorrow will show my efforts. I am not taking the melba nor drinking and diet sodas. I drink green tea or yurba mate tea and plenty of water. I do however eat beef once a day I think after reading this I will stop I have been eating beef and chicken. I will switch to chicken and shrimp. I do take esterdol and high blood pressure meds. I have been told to not just stop taking your meds. but am thinking maybe they are having some effect. Do you have any advice for me on this. I am 100% commited to this HCG and I really look forward to where I will end up. For the most part I am not hungry and I do not have any shaking of hands or feeling sick on only 5oo cals. Again thank you for any help you can give me I will keep reading and watching Dr.Clarks post and hope to learn much more from them. Kelly
Hi Dr. Clark,
I have a question, I ordered some hcg on the website Clinical HCG and I don’t know if it is homeopathic or not. It is a nasal spray, I could have gotten injections but it kind of freaks me out, the needles I mean. I have been on the injections for 6days including the first phase and I am starving, does mean that I am receiving the homeopathic or does it take that long for the other HCG that you recomend to take away hunger. Thanks for your advise and or imput.
Hi, Kelly: Sounds as though you have a good grasp on things already. Keep up the good work. Stalling is common, and an apple day is the best remedy for it. Cheers,
Dennis
I tested some homeopathic HCG. I put the liquid homeopathic HCG drops directly on a pregnancy test and it came back positive.. How does that work if you say that homeopathic drops do not contain HCG ??? Thanks

Hi Dr. Clark,
I completed my 1st round of 40 daqy oral hcg program 2 months ago. Went a few extra days on it. 44 days of drops,3 days without,… losing 31 lbs. Everything worked. I was not hungry,… I had lots of energy, etc. Since my first round… I found your site… and am hjorrified to learn that the drops I took did not contain any hcg hormone.

oops,….. meant 100 proof vodka, not 10.
Thanks, Roma
by Dr. Dennis Clark, on December 29 2009 @ 2:49 pm

Thanks again,
Dennis

Hello Dr Clarke
Would you say that the oral or sublingual hCG is or is not absorbed through the area under the tongue?
by Wendy, on April 1 2010 @ 11:59 am
I find it interesting that you can find no scientific journals that say homeopathic hcg works. Have you found journals that tell you they don’t? If so, can you please reference them? I am baffled by the amount of people that it is working for, and puzzled if there is evidence to the contrary. If, however, there is no evidence pointing to the efficacy of it because no studies have been made, I find your thoughts to be a bit misleading.
by Dr. Dennis Clark, on April 1 2010 @ 12:14 pm

Thanks Again!

Hello
I bought the sublingual drops on Ebay but i am still hungry, or should I have mixed it with some thing else. Please help
by Dr. Dennis Clark, on April 27 2010 @ 8:03 pm

Now, if I took this for 2 days and placed 10 drops under my tongue at lunch and at night for those 2 days and quit taking it would it cause a pregnancy test 3 days later to read positive?
by Dr. Dennis Clark, on May 12 2010 @ 11:15 am
There is no HCG in homeopathic products.

Hi Dr. D,
I just began the HCG drops & have lost 9 pounds (includes 3 pounds I gained during the loading days).
Sincerely,
Amy
by Dr. Dennis Clark, on May 25 2010 @ 10:20 am
All the best,
Dennis

I don’t know what was in them but it was easy to use no mixing no hassles as I fear to get something from out of the country with no prescription as I hear horror stories on how they do not send the product.. and Needles.. everyday?? no way..
I fully recommend Homeopathic HCG!!!!!!

Thank you in advance for any information you might give to me.- Thank you, Laura
by Dr. Dennis Clark, on June 5 2010 @ 9:17 am
Cheers,
Dennis

Thanks for your input. Dr. Iris Bell, my colleague from the University of Arizona and the premier researcher on homeopathy in the U.S., would be happy to know of your success. I also agree with your comment about academic journals. I am in an interesting position in that I use them for scientific validation, even though I know that more than 90 percent of published science (in all fields) contains major flaws. Just look at the HCG research in the 1960s and 1970s: seemingly perfectly designed experiments coming to diametrically opposed conclusions. Ah, we scientists are human after all!
Cheers,
Dennis

Dr. Clark,
Thank you for all the information. Thank you once again for your kind consideration to my questions…and thanks for the tip…have heard of, but not yet read The China Study, will check this out for sure!
by Mari Taschinger, on June 10 2010 @ 3:25 pm
I lost 27 lbs in 30 days on homeopathic hcg. I feel GREAT! It has been the easiest thing I have ever done. And no, I am not losing muscle, and it is not a placebo. If it were a placebo, then all the other things, including going on a total fast, would have produced the same placebo effect. When I start on my second round, I am going to get a body fat meter to monitor, just for proof to all who say that homeopathic doesn’t work as well as the “real” hcg. I don’t know how it works, but I have a handfull of friends who are using it as well and are losing weight and feeling great. And yes, they also have tried all the other stuff, and nothing worked like this does.
by Mari Taschinger, on June 10 2010 @ 3:34 pm
By the way, while it may be true that homeopathic has no hcg, it still has the effect of hcg. From what I understand, that is the great thing about homeopathic! It has the effect without having to have the actual ingredient. I just wanted to add that while using the homeoopathic hcg, not only have I had energy that I didn’t have when I was using nothing and eating any food that I wanted to eat, but I have also stopped having the hot flashes that I had been having. Imagine that!!!! No HcG in the bottle but I have energy and my hot flashes are gone. Hmmmm.
by Dr. Dennis Clark, on June 11 2010 @ 5:01 pm
All the best,
Dennis
by Dr. Dennis Clark, on June 11 2010 @ 5:06 pm
All the best,
Dennis
by Dr. Dennis Clark, on June 11 2010 @ 5:07 pm
Hmm, is right! Your experience speaks to hormone balance in general, which is also an outcome from HCG injections. Spot on, Mari.

Dennis

Hi! Dr. Clark,
You are inspiring thank you for helping explain HCG to us all!:)Anyway before I discovered your site I ordered Ora-thin “supposely” alternative hcg oral pills. Help please??
by Dr. Dennis Clark, on June 18 2010 @ 11:21 am
Thank you for your kind comments.
All the best,
Dennis

Hot flashes! I used the HCG drops on the 26 day protocol and my hotflashes stopped completely. I was very successful on the diet–lost 20 lbs–and almost more thrilled to have my severe hot flashes gone. BUT, the hotflashes returned when I stopped the protocol.
Is it possible to continue to take HCG drops just to stop the hot flashes? If so, what amount? Is that in anyway dangerous? I’m desperate to get relief from the hotflashes; they’re impeding my life.
by Marcia Barlow, on June 28 2010 @ 8:51 am
Regarding hotflashes and HCG. Forgot to mention that not even Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) worked that well for me (some relief from hotflashes, but not much). But I’ve been on HRT too long (5 years) and need to find something else.
by Dr. Dennis Clark, on June 28 2010 @ 12:18 pm
Hi, Marcia:
All the best,

Thanks for your advise and or imput.
by Sandy, on July 19 2010 @ 12:37 pm
Correction I meant the that I was on the spray for 6days not the injections.

Hi, Kelly: Sounds as though you have a good grasp on things already. Keep up the good work. Stalling is common, and an apple day is the best remedy for it. Cheers,

by Dr. Dennis Clark, on August 2 2010 @ 9:21 am
Hi, Sandy: Real HCG will have the dosage in IU (e.g., 12,000 IU), whereas homeopathic will have an X (e.g., 10 X) or a C.

Oh, and hunger is common, although it should dissipate after about the first week.

Hello,
I tested some homeopathic HCG. I put the liquid homeopathic HCG drops directly on a pregnancy test and it came back positive.. How does that work if you say that homeopathic drops do not contain HCG ??? Thanks
