Hi. I wonder if Wendy ever did try using Jojoba oil while on hCG? Or if you know of anyone else who has and whether or not they were successful. I'm tired of mineral oil! Would love to use Jojoba instead. Thanks.

Hi, Wendy:

As you know, all oil products are prohibited during the HCG protocol. Fortunately, jojoba oil is not really an oil. It is a liquid wax, which is entirely different from the oils that can disrupt your fat metabolism during the HCG protocol. I'd suggest you experiment with jojoba oil and see if it does not slow down your weight loss. I think it will be okay, although I have not heard of anyone using it like this. You will be the first! Let me know how it works. Thanks!

All the best,
Dennis

Hello Dr. Clark, I don't know if you respond to these emails or not, but I do have a question for you that I have not seen anyone asked yet. First off let allow me to introduce myself, My name is Wendy and I've been overweight most of my life, eventhough I'm pretty active (exercising daily- at least 45 mins and I try to eat right-key word try) the rolls of fat just don't seem to go away. I'm 36 years old and have not started the HCG program as of yet (i'm doing my research first) but I'm pretty sure that I will begin the HCG program this July. My question is this, I am an african american female and I have very coarse hair. In order for my hair to be at least remotely manageable, I have to oil my scalp and hair folicles from root to tip. I use mainly coconut oil or some other all natural oils-(jojoba oil, extra virgin olive oil, peppermint oil, castor oil, etc.) Will this adversely effect my HCG program once I began in July. I'm going to call it my HCG journey to a healthy body weight!! I'm super excited!!!
